Project Request Print E-mail

Before commencing any project we strongly recommend to all of our customers that they make a project proposal plan as it clarifies your own goals and expectation, and provides us with a clear idea of your desired objectives.

This document should include:

  • Sitemap - Please draw or configure a site map. How would you want your users to navigate your site? This is an important part of web development. Imagine your website from your clients point of view to see how they would want to navigate your site. To do this we recommend to use mind mapping software such as FreeMind (which is Open Source and you can download for free at http://freemind.sourceforge.net/).
  • Content - Please send us a document outlining your content. This is normally a Word file with the contents you would initially want to publish.
  • Workflow - We need to know how your work flow is going to work. Who is going to be maintaining your site? How many people? From what kind of interface?
  • Features - An outline of the features you want your site, extension or template to have. The best way to do this is to outline the main functional requirements in the site map mentioned above.
  • Links to other websites - It is very helpful prior to development to browse other websites for reference. If you already have a website we would like to see it, and if you like things from other websites that would be very helpful too. This maybe a website with similar content or a website you like the look of.
  • Any other material you think relevant - Artwork, corporate identity guidelines, etc.
